MANGAIS GOLF RESORT
Mangais Golf Club and Resort is located in Ingombota, a site along the Kwanza River, some 70 km or 1-hour drive from Luanda. The resort offers an 18-hole course designed by the Portuguese golf architect Jorge Santana da Silva, currently a second one is under construction while a third course is planned to open in a few years. Built on a land area of over 200 hectares beside the river, the 18-hole Mangais Golf Club and Resort course has 7000 meters. Designed as an ecotourism project to preserve the local environment and wildlife, the course incorporates 20 lakes and a 7.5 km canal that runs between the lush mangrove forests that encompasses the course.
The golf course built with high standards and quality have 18 holes com a maximum distance of about 7000 meters, have a strong feature of a championship course offering 6 sets of tees on each hole, allowing players to choose the distance their level enables them to play. On site guests can enjoy a number of recreational activities such as golf, horse-riding, and hiking. Guests can also take time to unwind with activities such as yoga and meditation to be fully present or take some time to relax completely at the hotel’s spa that offers a number of treatments and therapies.
